How to Use Aquaflex Pelvic Floor Exercise System
Unscrew your selected cone to reveal a plastic post upon which the desired weight is positioned. The cones are two different sizes to allow the user to choose the most appropriate starting size. This also allows a woman to progress her pelvic floor strengthening as she may start with the larger cone and progress to the smaller cone as her pelvic floor muscle strength improves.
Aquaflex fits comfortably within the vagina and is easily inserted (like inserting a tampon). Aquaflex can be used initially lying down using an empty unweighted cone to help feel the pelvic floor muscles working correctly.
For best pelvic floor strength gains, Aquaflex should be used standing and progressively increasing the weights lifted over time, just like strength training in the gym. Most women choose to commence with the lightest 5g weight and increase the weight progressively through to 55g in total. The hygienic flexible cord allows for the Aquaflex cone to be easily removed.
